Using Google Maps or maps on the new Verizon Blackberry 8830?
I have a BlackBerry Storm and I think to go to Cruve 8830 since I am sick and tired of the bugs in the storm and the battery ridiculously crappy. My question was. Can I use Google Maps maps or BB Curve? I was hoping to maybe get the Dataplan overvalued for a month just to download some of the features such as WeatherBug, Google Maps and etc and then cancel it. Would this work? Would accessing the GPS because Verizon charge me the Dataplan?
I consider that the data unaffordable to plan your personal reference Blackberry unlimited plan. My first business phone provider cell is Verizon and I think this plan will work, however, you may want to take into consideration the amount of data packets is used after you have canceled. You may be required to "Pay As You Surf" which is not good if you ever pull Google Maps, or if you use the GPS (it's constantly update), or for one reason or another a hand page and it is constantly transmitting. Web database access anything (measured data packets ion) will cost you depending on your plan. Make the right choice.
