I have a site web / guide for lawyers I want is to push users to their field automatically, but rather the nature of IP as the geographic targeting or test a split page that possible is it a good idea of what hurts seo I think the SE is that the same content as ever. but I think if I use java or something WHICH HE see all thought it could work
I'm going to guess you mean by SEO search engine optimizer. Do not use Java, I think SEO you will hate even more. You should look into GeoIP (http://www.maxmind.com/app/ip-location). If your site uses PHP I know it is easy to implement and work very well, without any effect to the end user. I do not know how it would be the effect if the search engines.
