
Job Search on the bad job market – pointers?
I'm in Michigan – one of the worst unemployment rates in the country - tips to help me stand out and get to the interview? 15 + years in the admin. experience, polite and professional. Unfortunately, the game seems to have changed since the last time I looked for a job 8 years ago. I tried deleting myself when the company I worked for closed, but in vain. Are the engines job search useful? I signed up with almost all (Monster, etc.) but certainly difficult to follow when the company is just now. Ugh!
